"Manned by junior standout Drew Johnston along with classmate Sean Ryan and senior David Carr, the Hunterdon Central foil line collected 15 victories in the final round’s A Pool to edge second-place Mendham, which finished with 14.
Johnston, who’s expected to compete for the state foil title this year, went 6-1 in the final round. He was 12-2 overall in the tourney."

LEARN TO FENCE!
Whether you're interested in trying out for your school team or have felt inspired to pick up a blade after watching Olympic fencing or swordplay in the movies, our Introductory Class will give you the chance to experience the basics of this classic sport.
Introductory Foil Class
This six week session is held weekly on Thursday's (6:00-7:00pm) starting on February 23rd and runs thru March 29th.
Basic parries, footwork, and safety will be covered. All equipment is provided. (Ages 8 -15)
Please fill out and send in the registration form and payment (check or credit card) in the amount of $180. When received you will be notified by e-mail and your child will be registered. Class size is limited to 10 students.

"Cusack topped Ark, 5-2, in a fence-off to grab first place in foil at the NJSIAA/Bollinger individual tournament Sunday at
Montgomery. Kaneshige lost to Drew Johnston of Hunterdon Central and Ark in the final pool."

Sophomore, 5-9, 130 pounds"JUST THE FACTS: Johnston surprised everyone, including himself, when he captured the district foil title in the individual competition at the District 2 tournament on Jan. 29. Johnston went undefeated in the final pool and finished 15-3 for the day to also help Hunterdon Central its second straight district team foil title. Drew is 26-2 in dual meets this season. Nationally he is ranked 16th among cadets and is 41st among juniors."
